Danielle's Bridal Shower

About a month ago Little Vegas Wedding Blog featured Danielle's bridal shower...and since we never blogged about the details we figured better late than never!

The shower was held at Gordon Biersch, one of Danielle's favorite restaurants. We love bridal showers at restaurants because they eliminate the stress of preparing food and providing tables/chairs/plates/napkins/ etc. and you can just focus on some decor...oh, and the best part - no clean up! Danielle's wedding was very rustic so I decided to do something a tad more "modern" and colorful. Our overall color scheme was navy blue, aqua, yellow, and pink with a baking theme. Ali McGhie was sweet enough to take these great photos for us...

We set up a long family style table on the patio
DIY flowers from Whole Foods in our aqua mason jars...easy peasy :)

We fancied up these little mason jars with cupcake liner flowers and bakers twine
At each place setting we had the game cards, a drink ticket, and the cookie favors (that my wonderful husband made...they're Danielle's favorite) We even made sure to have pink pens & paper clips

Above the gift table I hung up a DIY rag garland and frame painted navy with a custom print inside

My favorite picture of Danielle as a baby...not much has changed :)
Tasty cupcakes from The Cupcakery - provided by a bridesmaid

We designed custom prints for around the shower
A jar full of cupcake liners dolled up the gift table

Can't go wrong with cute straws in a cute jar!
For Danielle's guest book I gathered favorite recipes from all of her guests along with a photo of them with Danielle and they each had a place to sign below the recipe

One of the games was to guess Danielle's age in photos which we hung from our white folding screen

Some of the yummy food

Baking themed gift baskets provided by a bridesmaid

Overall, the shower turned out amazing and was lots of fun! We definitely recommend Gordon Biersch for get togethers if you're looking for a space. Everything was very tasty and we loved having the patio all to ourselves!

xoxo,
Jillian

  1. Quite nice. I just found a big list of best birthday party venues. I would like to reserve one of these venues for my husband’s birthday. The best thing is that rental prices of most venues are quite affordable.
